Danielle McMahon

Award Winning Veterinary Physiotherapist

BSc (Hons), PgD (Vet Phys.), MNAVP, AHPR

​

Wiltshire based, fully qualified and insured Veterinary Physiotherapist working through Veterinary Referrals and freelance.

Having a great passion for animal welfare and a natural take to science, in particular anatomy and physiology, led me to an undergraduate degree in BSc (Hons) Bio-Veterinary Science. My dissertation on canine facial anatomy and auditory perception was also used for the purpose of a BBC documentary. Eager to learn more, I then went on to qualify as a Veterinary Physiotherapist PgD, accredited by the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists (NAVP).

 

Since qualifying I went onto work in various Veterinary Practices. Here I furthered my physiotherapy knowledge by working with a wide range of cases, both common and unique, working alongside specialist orthopaedic and neurological surgeons. ​

After gaining invaluable knowledge and experience I then went on to start up my own bussiness, McMahon Veterinary Physiotherapy. 

​

When I am not working, I enjoy working and walking my Labradors, Oakley and Todd and helping my partner, Luke, on the farm.  Together we enjoy canoeing, paddleboarding and travelling.
